People’s Climate March, NYC: Jamaica Plain Was There

Hundreds of Jamaica Plain residents were among the estimated 400,000 participants in this weekend’s People’s Climate March in New York City.

Here is a roundup of photos from JP people and organizations who made the trip.

It was an amazing day, and fun to run into JP-ers all over the march route! Here are some of my pics: http://www.rheabecker.com/2014/the-biggest-climate-march-in-history/

      Thanks, Rhea!

    We were there too! Proof!

How much CO2 do you suppose was created by all that transportation to Washington?

    • AlanThinks

In the larger scheme of things the additional amount of CO2 I generated by taking a full bus down was vanishingly small. I would have preferred to have added none by biking to a climate march in Boston, but the NYC march was the critical first toward organizing a global upwelling of humanity demanding change. We have only one planet we can live on and we are quickly ruining it for humanity.
