Soul Journey: Storybook

A ten month immersion; a pilgrimage within. We will deeply explore lifetimes of personal stories, judgements, and masks that keep us safe and partially-living. We will remember the authentic compassion that is us. Through ritual, movement, meditation, chanting, journaling, and visualization, deepen your understanding of the places in you that have not yet been fully witnessed;  celebrate the parts of yourself that shine, and welcome the newly growing buds just starting to develop. Using spiritual understanding and practices from a variety of systems, including chakras, yoga, psychosynthesis, the 5 elements, Tarot, Buddhism, Earth Practices, and other healing modalities, a safe and loving container will be created where you can develop Self Authority, Authenticity, and Aliveness.

Legislature Passes Balanced Fiscal 2016 Budget

In early July the Legislature enacted a $38.1 billion state budget for fiscal year 2016. The spending plan prioritizes funding for education, housing assistance, behavioral health, substance abuse, and critical services and programs for our most vulnerable residents in the Commonwealth. The plan includes $4.5 billion for education funding and $18.6 million for kindergarten expansion grants. Funding for the Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP) increased by $17.9 million and will allow for the creation of approximately 764 new mobile vouchers, helping families move from emergency assistance housing to permanent housing. In addition, through sponsored and cosponsored amendments and collaborative efforts with my colleagues, I was able to secure funding for programs that are of utmost importance to me and my constituents.
