Female Shot in Jackson Square, Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

One female was shot on Tuesday afternoon in Jackson Square and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Boston Police responded to a report of a female victim shot around 3:11 pm at 265 Centre St., according to BPD Media Relations Officer David Estrada. The Mildred Hailey Apartments are located at 265 Centre St. Boston Police closed the streets nearby as detectives investigated the shooting. The MBTA also stopped running buses from Jackson Square, and were diverting bus riders to other stations. District 6 City Councilor Matt O'Malley was on scene after the shooting.

Two Injured in Targeted Shooting at Hyde Square Market

Two people were injured in a brazen midday shooting outside of a market in Hyde Square on Wednesday. The shooting took place around 2:45 pm by the Pimentel Market at 340 Centre St. Multiple witnesses have said they heard up to six shots ring out. Boston Police arrived and found an injured female, and at first it was believed she was shot, but later at the hospital doctors said they thought she was hit by glass, said Boston Police District E-13 Captain John Greland, who addressed the media after the shooting. One Dead After Saturday Night Shooting on South Street

A shooting on South Street by a barbershop left one victim dead on Saturday night. Boston Police were called to the area of 140 South St. around 9:48 pm for a report of a shooting and found a male, believed to be in his 20s, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to bpdnews.com. The victim was transported to an area hospital and later succumbed from his injuries. The Professional Barber Shop is located at 140 South St., and Boston Police were going in and out of that location after the shooting.

15+ Surveillance Cameras Captured Alleged Murderer To and From Shootings

A Dorchester man accused of shooting and killing two innocent bystanders on May 4th was arraigned on Monday and held without bail. Wilvin Guity, 28, was charged with two counts of murder and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm at Roxbury Municipal Court on Monday. Guity was allegedly recorded minutes before the shooting via surveillance cameras exiting the rear passenger's door of a white Ford Fusion near Chestnut Avenue while wearing a gray hoodie and distinctive patterned sneakers, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. Boston Police homicide detectives would later identify Guity, and he was captured on video walking into the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments by 277 Centre St., and open fire on a group of approximately 15 people in a Centre Street park, said prosecutors. He allegedly then ran back towards Chestnut Avenue and got back into the Ford Fusion.

Boston Police Charge Dorchester Man with Centre Street Double Homicide

Boston Police have arrested and charged a Dorchester man with two counts of murder for shooting two men dead at 277 Centre Street on the night of May 4. After eight days from the murders, BPD homicide detectives arrested Wilvin Guity, 28, for allegedly shooting and killing Christopher Joyce, 23, and Clayborn Blair, 58. Guity is scheduled to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on May 14, according to BPDnews.com. The two victims were shot to death around 9:41 pm at 277 Centre St., outside of the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments. A Boston Police officer nearby heard the shots and quickly ran to the scene and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Update: Two Shot Dead in Jackson Square

Two people were shot dead in the area of 277 Centre Street on Friday night in Jackson Square.  

Boston Police District E-13 officers were on patrol in the area when they heard gunshots fired around 9:41 pm, and quickly responded towards the scene, according to BPDnews.com. Upon arrival officers found two adult males suffering gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals and later succumbed to their injuries and pronounced dead. One victim was a male in his twenties and the other victim was a male believed to be in his fifties.
