Educational Program on Guardianship in Jamaica Plain

Guardian Community Trust, a nonprofit created to improve the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities in Massachusetts, is partnering with Ethos in Jamaica Plain, to convene an educational program for local caregivers about resources and tools for enabling care in the community, including guardianship and alternatives to guardianship.  The program is designed so that local caregivers to the elderly and individuals with mental illness and disabilities will understand the options available when a person is no longer able to make decisions for themselves. Business owners of JP — on Friday morning, State Representative Jeffrey Sánchez is hosting a small business breakfast. The topic is how the Affordable Care Act will affect your enterprise.
