JP Centre/South Main Streets Throwing Mobile App Party on Sept. 29

JP Centre/South Main Streets is throwing a party to celebrate launching an app that will make exploring the neighborhood more mobile-friendly and interactive. The launch party for the StriveOn app is on Saturday, Sept. 29, from noon to 4 pm, on the lawn of First Baptist Church, 633 Centre Street. There will be games, food trucks, prizes and more. You can also get to know the app with JPCSMS' Scavenger Hunt by using it to follow the map and answer questions to earn points for prizes.

First Thursdays ArtWalks Begin March 1st

Many Jamaica Plain businesses have scheduled art shows, musicians and fun shopping events ready for this year's First Thursdays ArtWalks that are beginning this week. First Thursday is presented by JP Centre/South Main Streets and include Thursdays on the Lawn at the Loring-Greenough House in warmer months with food trucks, performances and movie screenings. ArtWalk maps will be available this Thursday at participating locations. You can also find it online by clicking here.
